Federal PLUS Loan Pre-approval Available Online

• Programmers have corrected all previously identified problems. Internal and external testing within The Brazos Group has continued. Testing will begin with select schools that have agreed to participate on April 1, 2002. With successful testing, Brazos is anticipating a tentative release date in late April or early May 2002.

Federal Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note Electronic Signature

• Brazos has completed contract negotiations with NCS Pearson. The Start Up Kit from NCS Pearson has been received and programming is underway!

Federal PLUS Loan - Apply Online

• BOSS/Web programmers included a PLUS apply online feature when programming for the Brazos PLUS Pre-approval web product. Brazos Marketing Staff will work with Texas schools to identify schools that would prefer that their parent borrowers not apply until a PLUS loan application has been certified. Once this information is collected, programming will be put in place to route these parent borrowers to their student's school. It has not been determined at this time when Brazos will begin collecting this information.
