What is ELMNet?
- ELMNet is a Web based inquiry tool that allows real time inquiry into
student loan status.

How does ELMNet work?
- ELM maintains an index of borrowers that allows it to direct inquiries
to the correct database. When an inquiry comes in, the index will query
the correct loan holder (or holders). Information on the loan is displayed
directly from the holder's database in real time. The user will have an option
to go to the holder's website for more information and inquiry functions.
- Borrowers with more than one loan holder will be able to see all their loan
information displayed on a single screen.
